Importing from China
What are the advantages of importing finishing and furniture materials from China through cPlano?
Importing from China allows access to a huge variety of designs and materials, with world-class quality and competitive prices, which reduces finishing costs.
What is the expected savings?
The savings range from 30% to 50% depending on the type of materials, specifications, and order size.
Can I order for a single villa, or only for larger projects?
Even a single villa can be ordered. There is no mandatory minimum, but the higher the quantity, the lower the cost. We recommend ordering no less than a full container to achieve the greatest economic benefit.
Measurements, Installation, and Quality
Who is responsible for taking the measurements?
Depending on the size of the project and the agreement, C-Plano can send a representative or a specialized team from China (the cost is borne by the client or according to the agreement). The client can also hire a local engineer to ensure accurate dimensions and measurements.
Who is responsible for the installation?
Also, according to the agreement, some project owners prefer installation by C-Plano or a Chinese partner of C-Plano. Note that there is a cost for the installation team's visit, which is agreed upon upon request and paid by the project owner. This cost is nominal, along with the cost of travel tickets. (For large projects, the factories are charged all costs, according to the agreement.)
Is the quality guaranteed?
Yes, the quality is guaranteed. C-Plano works with high-quality factories. Through a three-stage monitoring system, we ensure all specifications and standards agreed upon with the client are met before placing the order. First: Design and size review and material selection stage. Second: Inspection stage during manufacturing. Third: Auditing, inspection, and receipt stage before shipping. Under the installation conditions, the factory or the cPlano team undertakes the installation and ensures the quality of the installation in accordance with the agreement.
Shipping and Delivery Time
Is it possible to ship worldwide? Does the shipping include customs fees and shipment delivery?
Yes, we offer shipping services to various countries, but some destinations may require special logistical procedures that we review before shipping. Depending on the contract with cPlano, the contract may include the product price including delivery to the port. Container shipping prices are often constantly changing, but at cPlano, we work to ensure our customers receive the best shipping prices and services. We also assist them in preparing all customs and clearance requirements, as well as assisting with clearance through local partners in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states. Some countries are exempt from customs clearance and transportation within them. A door-to-door delivery service is also available for those interested and wish to avoid the details of the shipping process and its requirements.
How long does the process take from agreement to shipping?
The duration varies depending on the nature of the project, but approximately: Design and review: 7-14 days Manufacturing: 30-45 days Shipping to the customer's country: 20-35 days Total estimated: 60-90 days Note: This period does not include the waiting time for approval from the customer, nor the clearance or delivery procedures within the destination country.
Are 3D plans required?
Not required, but they greatly help with the accuracy of implementation and detailing. If they are not available, our team can help you prepare them.
Is it necessary to visit China? Does Cplano offer services for visitors?
Visiting China is not mandatory, as all stages of the order can be carried out remotely efficiently and clearly.
